Responsibilities

End-to-end ownership of the presales function
Drive pre sales roadmap strategy and execution
Manage the documentation, pricing and execution of deliveries to the sales team
Providing consultative oversight from pre sales point of view to the product team
Work in conjunction with the sales team and provide support in terms of technical and pre sales assistance to the client
Work with the Product Team to manage and control pricing of products across different geographies
Manage and control pre sales related documentation for all the products for different geographies including but not limited to proposals, product collaterals, product brochures etc.
Build a great team. Attract, retain and mentor talent
Work with the marketing team to align product documentation like product brochures, white papers etc.
Work with the professional services team to manage and execute product demos
Meet customers including senior functions along with the sales team and provide detailed understanding about the offerings of the company
Determines product pricing by utilizing market research data along with product team; reviewing production and sales costs; anticipating volume and implements the same on a calculator
Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results
Maintains pre sales management staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
Maintains pre sales staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Required Qualification

Technical/Job Skills

5+ Pre sales Management Experience
8+ Years of Team Management Experience
Demonstrated success defining and managing pre sales function across geographies
Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products
Proven ability to work in conjunction with multiple teams within the same organization
Good understanding of the dynamics and critical success factors of software product industry in general and SAAS/Cloud based delivery paradigm in particular
